1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how the owner of the website betlabelsweden.com (the "Site", "we", "us") handles the personal data of people who visit it ("you", the "data subject"). The Site is an English-language information portal about the BetLabel betting and casino brand, written for readers in Sweden aged 18 or over.

The Site is not a gambling operator. It does not open gambling accounts or accept bets, deposits or payments, and it never asks you for identity or financial details. When you follow a link to the operator's site, any data you give there is handled by the operator as controller under its own privacy policy.

For any privacy question, you can contact the controller of the data collected through the Site at contact@betlabelsweden.com.

3. What personal data we process

We process only the data the Site strictly needs to work:

  • Technical and browsing data: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referring page, browser type and version, operating system and error messages, logged automatically by the hosting servers.
  • Contact data you choose to send: email address, name and message content, only if you decide to write to us.

The Site sets no cookies of its own and stores no information on your device (see the Cookie Policy). We do not process special categories of data under Article 9 of the GDPR, we do not build user profiles and we make no decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects for you (Article 22 of the GDPR).

5. Children

The Site is intended only for people aged 18 or over, the minimum age for gambling in Sweden. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you learn that a child has sent us personal data, write to contact@betlabelsweden.com so that we can delete it.

6. Who receives the data

Data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf as processors under Article 28 of the GDPR, in particular hosting, content delivery network (CDN) and IT security providers, who are bound by contract to confidentiality and security obligations.

We may also disclose data to courts, the police or other public authorities when the law requires it. We never sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Links to the operator's site or to other third-party sites take you away from the Site. Those sites have their own privacy and cookie policies, for which we are not responsible.

7. International transfers

If a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer takes place only with the safeguards set out in Articles 44 to 49 of the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the standard contractual clauses adopted by the Commission.

8. How long we keep data

  • Technical server logs: up to 90 days, unless they are needed for longer to investigate a security incident.
  • Messages and requests received by email: as long as needed to answer them and then for up to 12 months, or for the applicable limitation period if a dispute arises.

When these periods end, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

9. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, you can exercise the following rights at any time:

  • The right of access to the data about you.
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • The right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten").
  • The right to restriction of processing.
  • The right to data portability for the data you gave us.
  • The right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • The right to withdraw consent, where processing is based on it, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

To exercise these rights, send a request to contact@betlabelsweden.com. We will reply within one month of receiving it. Under Article 12(3) of the GDPR, that period can be extended by two further months where needed because of the complexity or number of requests. Exercising your rights is free of charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. We may ask for further information to confirm your identity.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data breaks the applicable rules, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. In Sweden, the supervisory authority is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm, www.imy.se.

11. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures suited to the risk, as required by Article 32 of the GDPR. They include encrypted connections over HTTPS, access control on our systems and collecting as little data as possible. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information sent to us.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the law or in how the Site works. The current version is always available on this page, together with the date of the last update.
